A DETOX APPLE
Inspired by the film “The Apple,” I am captivated by the concept that an apple can symbolize freedom, knowledge, and new possibilities. I used this idea as a metaphor to develop the book "A Detox Apple," which aims to convey the process of redefining and examining oneself and gender values under the influence of Western societal norms.
The book uses my experiences to illustrate various gender and social issues that can emerge from passive self-awareness. This process is like detoxification, making us reflect on the gender and social issues that arise in Eastern societies through passive self-awareness.
For Eastern Female....
Through the publication of this book, I hope to encourage more people, especially Eastern women, to challenge the power structures and values within our societies. This book is a memoir and an action guide, aiming to inspire the younger generation to recognize and assert the importance of their autonomy through my experiences.
